It works while you start working on yourself too
  • Awesome tool

I feel like this book it's a really bad rap. I can see how people would think the things that are being talked about in this book are manipulation or mind games, if a person applies it that way it's certainly can be.. However, I think with this really does is sets out a guideline for those of us who get overly excited and don't really understand proper personal boundaries. It advocates self-care good eating habits, exercise, self-restraint, making your own life, putting yourself in your own life first. I myself am very guilty of developing a crush on someone, and they would just become my entire world. I would become very overbearing for them, even if they did really like me. I got used because I would chase the guys and they would see my willingness to do it it took. I believe these rules are applied properly the losers and users lose interest cuz they certainly want to put forth any effort.. This is an about tricking just any man to fall into love with you. This teaches you the ways to behave to protect yourself from those guys that don't care enough to chase you. I don't think you should be read as the Bible, take what you can of it and learn. It's really awesome advice
  • All Wrong

    By Cosmic Van
This book may be part of why dating is all messed up. Men do not like a chase. That is a myth perpetuated by women who misunderstand men. This book gives horrible advice if you want a good man. By playing these mind games, you will chases away men who have self-worth and attract men who need other's validation. For example, one rule says to end the call first (always leave him wanting more). Another says to remain silent as much as possible (create an air of mystery). And yet another says not to accept an invitation to a Saturday night date after Wednesday (so you don't look desperate). All the above advice comes from truly narcissistic minds. It's all about manipulation. Women who follow the advice in this book deserve what they get. Don't complain, ladies. LOL. If you want an honest relationship, you have to be honest. If the man doesn't like who you are, then bid him farewell and move one. But trying to manipulate people, hiding your true feelings, and toying with people's emotions is dangerous. If you meet an unstable man, for instance, and you play these games with him, you could end up in tomorrow's headlines. The bad advice in this book speaks volumes to the stupidity of the women that wrote it, but as if they wanted to confirm their stupidity, they loaded this book chock-full of typos. If you can't properly write in your own mother language, you are too stupid to be giving advice about anything. Get this book from your local library and read it. It will show you why men are increasingly rejecting marriage, dating, and women as a whole. Games are for kids. Grow up, ladies. It's time you start acting your age.
  • Every girl should read this book

Every girl should read this book. It will save you from unhealthy relationships with others and you will build a solid foundation for what you will and will not tolerate in a relationship. I personally think that this book should be given to girls in school, and there should be support groups.
  • It works

The rules work! I'm now engaged and it is getting harder to follow the rules :( I'm also noticing the changes that were mentioned once you start caring too much.. They really make sense- men will always like a chase. Now when I see women who chase after men, I can't help but laugh. It reaches you to be a LADY which is rare nowadays. I started out in a long distance relationship and am glad it covered that part , a lot of books don't so I couldn't relate. With this one, I did. Need to focus again on using "The Rules"
  • Horrible advice overall

    By DreamSpells
Seriously a terrible message; there was very little advice in this book I found helpful...mostly I was horrified. Funny how often these authors refer to the advice as not playing games, but that is exactly what it is. I have been much more successful in my romantic life and dating by doing mostly the opposite of what this book advocates. Make no mistake ladies, men can't stand women who play these games. And the sheer amount of typos was ridiculous; if you insist on reading this book, perhaps purchase the hardcopy in a used bookstore. Yes, used, as I wish I could get a refund.
  • Great Principals, Poorly Edited

    By Fantomama
I had no idea I was doing anything wrong when it came to men, but this book has changed my entire outlook! I'm excited to put it into practice! My only complaint would be the numerous amount of typos —I stopped counting at 10. I've never seen a publication with so many errors; it really undermines the book's message.
